OREO ice cream
Simple OREO ice cream with warm caramel sauce.

Ingredients
- Ice cream:
- egg yolks 8 stk
- sugar 120 g
- heavy cream 1 liter
- vanilla drops 4 tsp
- OREO crumbs 600 g
- Caramel sauce:
- Cote dor caramels 20 stk
- cream 1 dl
Instructions
Ice cream:
Start by lightly whipping the cream and setting it aside.
Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Add the vanilla drops at the end and stir together.
Gently fold the egg mixture into the cream.
Finally, add the OREO crumbs and fold in gently.
Pour the ice cream into a loaf pan.
Sprinkle OREO crumbs over the ice cream and place it in the freezer.
It’s best to let the ice cream set in the freezer for 24 hours.
Melt the caramels and cream together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring regularly.
Let it cool slightly before pouring it over the ice cream.
